Paul Johnson - singer / songwriter / guitarist

I'm a full time, professional musician based in Gloucester.  I perform gigs and weddings across the county and beyond, playing mainly covers as a solo acoustic act. 

I also write indie rock / folk songs which I perform solo and with my band The Dawn Roar (click the link to learn more). 

I grew up listening to music in the 90's and 00's, and my music tastes mainly lean towards alternative, indie and Brit Pop from that era. And of course the classic artists from the 60's, 70's and 80's that influenced them. I also love a lot of contemporary folk and singer songwriters, and they all play into my musical style and song choices.

I listen to music all the time and find flow in the process of learning and writing songs. I believe music is healing and can be life changing, and I hope to see you at a performance soon!
